Adult Basic Education

The Bethel Regional Adult Basic Education Program offers GED preparation and instruction in reading, writing and math. In 2014, there were 122 GED graduates and thousands of tutoring hours provided.  The Bethel Regional ABE Program operates as a partnership between Yuut Elitnaurviat and the State of Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development.  Some villages have an ABE program.  Call to find out about your village.  The Bethel Regional ABE Center is open all year, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. Students may enroll at any time during the year, but the earlier in the year, the better.  Feel free to contact us at (907) 543-0950 or visit our ABE website by clicking here.
