Born and raised in Nebraska, Val graduated from Trinity International University on Chicago's North Shore, whre she met her husband, Christopher. They have three children, Aidan (13), Samara (10) and Eliana (7). Val and family lived in Iowa and Tennessee before moving to Bethel in 2008. Val loves gardening and spending time with her family.

Gerry has driven over one million accident free miles professionally; spanning nearly 20 years. He has taught men and women to drive both cars and commercial sized vehicles, and has a reputation for safety and excellence. He loves the outdoors, fishing, camping and NASCAR and INDY car racing. Gerry spent a summer in Denali back in the 80's where he met his wife Cheryl, and they have two grown children. Gerry is new to Bethel, and is looking forward to next summer when he can fish the Kuskokwim.

Originally from Georgia, Brock moved to Ohio to finish college.  Since graduating Brock has held several engineering positions ranging from semiconductor manufacturing to monitoring smokestack emissions at energy plants for the EPA.  Brock is married to his wife Jennifer, and is hoping to add a new addition to the family very soon… a dog!  He enjoys hunting, fishing, exploring and playing his guitar in his down time.

Annie was born and raised here in the YK Delta, and always knew she would return home after experiencing life outside of the region. Shortly after graduating from the University of Alaska in Fairbanks, she accepted a position as an Academic Advisor where she worked for five years. This position required travel within Alaska, and as a result, she has seen all "corners" of our beautiful State. She has also worked as a Financial Planning Officer for a career college in Anchorage before deciding it was time to return home. She is excited to bring her experience to Yuut in hopes that she will impress upon our residents the importance of education beyond local community schools. She believes that providing resources and options opens doors to residents where they may have realized. On her own time,  Annie very much enjoys travelling and experiencing ethnic foods and cultures.

Tiffany is Yuut's original staff member. She was hired in 2002 and has had a hand in pretty much every aspect of our organizations development and the construction of our campus. Tiffany has lived all over US and the world. She moved back to Bethel in 2000 to put down roots. She married her husband Tekoa in 2001 and they have two daughters Callie and Lulu. Tiffany enjoys cooking (to an extreme), gardening, reading and the escapades of her rather eccentric children. She also has an affinity for keeping farm animals in her yard that over the years has included chickens, turkeys, goats and pigs.
